In the episode “The Sewer,” when the often-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) lands a job as a bartender and shoeshine boy at the local AlleyCatz bowling alley, he feels like he’s finally found a home. When financial troubles threaten the AlleyCats, Walt is pressured by former pro bowler and current drinking champion Skunk (D’Arcy Carden) to embrace his role as the greatest bowler to ever walk the planet. While Walt’s love of big checks and brash style of play dominate the pro tour, his detractors, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and recently retired bowling legend Linda “The Wrecker” Curson (Susan Sarandon), are frantically clamoring to throw the flames. Walt, before that, shines too brightly.
